Evaluation of Erosion Susceptibility of Godrahav Basin (Artvin) Using Geo-environmental Factors

چکیده

This study aimed to produce the erosion susceptibility map of Godrahav basin by using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method. stream basin, located within borders Artvin province in Eastern Black Sea Region, covers an area approximately 5310.12 hectares. In order area, 11 geo-environmental criteria which are effective formation (slope, aspect, profile curvature, drainage density, distance network, topographic wetness index (TWI), power (SPI), slope length and steepness factor (LS), normalized difference vegetation (NDVI), land use lithology) were taken into account. The AHP method was used determine weights criteria. Similar studies literature expert opinions importance with respect each other create pairwise comparison matrix. According results obtained, it determined that low 4.9% medium 9.57% high 5.58% basin. areas consist agricultural unproductive forest lands slope. reduce risk erosion, detailed soil protection measures should be these areas.
